I wanted to relate how the first standup we did for our Kanban was, and tell what worked and what didn't.  First as I mentioned in my previous post we are displaying our Kanban status board electronically.  This we need to work on.  Right now it only displays during the standup, then all members leave the team room.  I believe this will create problems.  We need to have that status in a more visible mode, which is how the Kanban pilot I did worked, keeping issues visible.   I'm not sure how to remedy this situation.  Of course it is the first meeting, but I believe this might give us trouble in getting team buy in and participation.

The board shows the name of the developer, the category of the change ticket, the ticket number and the status.  We also show the current length in Que.  Below is a sample of what the board could look like.

One other issue is that our electronic Kanban board is currently updated twice a day, not real time.  We are looking at ways to change that and hopefully will have that resolved soon.
