Yesterday, I downloaded the new version of Opera: version 7.5. What I really like about this is that it is a complete overhaul. Yeah, the entire UI has been redesigned so that the toolbars and the side bar occupy as little space as possible.
Another thing that I really, really like about the new Opera release is the further integration of newsgroups and RSS feeds. Yes, that is right techy ladies and geeky gentlemen -- it has RSS built-in. And why is it more superior than any other RSS reader? Because it is so bloody fast to load and the memory footprint is extremely low. I also never fancied the idea of Outlook to be open, a browser, a RSS reader and a newsgroup reader to be all opened at one time but it is time that the later three have merged into one program.
There is, however, one bug -- I cannot make this my default browser. I have searched high and low and finally found a tick box that says "Check if Opera is the default browser on startup." It does not seem that 'feature' does not work too good.
