IE Team sure gets attention!
After BG spoke about releasing plans of new IE 7 and IE Team announced the same in their blog, this IE 7 stuff has got major attention (take the comment count for example for IE 7 announce post). Take other related IE Team blog posts here, here and here.
It's a very good thing that people discuss and express their opinions but IMO commenting a blog into almost DoS isn't a good thing either, if comments aren't decent and constructive. Bashing the team for decisions already made is useless, they have their managers too (hey they are humans also...).
What I'm already waiting is getting into the test loop for new IE as early as possible so that I can try to have impact on the product with my feedback. That's the best thing I can do now, and I believe all of you who also express your opinions in IE team blog, should do, if you want to help (and instead of bashing IE, why not also trying to make it better?). I believe IE Team already knows that all of us want tabbed browsing, so maybe we could spare our energy to the official (public) beta program. :-)
