Form with validators not posting? (Framework 1.1)

This issue has lately been raised up quite a bit in the forums and newsgroups I've been participating. If you know you have Framework 1.1 (and you know that you possibly have SP or hotfix installed for it) check this excellent blog post by Scott Mitchell.
