Anticipation of a new day.
The weekend arrived quickly marking the end of my third week at Lake Quincy Media. So far I have enjoyed every day of my internship. This has given me a chance to really get to know a lot more about what Microsoft has been on about for years. Even more than just what I have been learning is that I now have a goal.
While in school I view most 'goals' as pointless hoops through which I need to jump. What I have now is much greater than that. I now have a chance to prove something to myself. I have the opportunity to see if I have what it takes to actually accomplish something not school related. I have had my share of jobs in the past but this is different. This is closer to what I plan on doing later in life. For now I will get back to an excellent book I have started reading. When I am done I will let you know how it is. Until then, I will get back to reading

Murach's ASP.NET 2.0 Web Programming with C# 2005, which is an excellent read. Have a look at a copy of the book sometime, because the book is huge. No this is not a negative it is a positive. Every bit of text on the left has a visual on the right which makes it very easy to see what the text has been describing.
