ASP.NET Rich Text Editor Control
I've recently come across a large number of blog posts talking about a new Rich Text Editor on CodePlex released under the Microsoft Public License (MS-PL). Some of the blog posts talking about this interesting control can be found here, here, here, and this one has a lengthy description. These blogs all link to this promising looking ASP.NET Rich Text Editor control. I've heard many times in the past of the difficulties of writing a rich text editor. I've never tried writing one. This seems like an excellent opportunity to look at the source code required to create a functioning rich text editor. There is a live demo of the rich text editor for anyone who wants to give this thing a test drive.
Go give this control a test drive. Perhaps we'll be seeing this thing integrated into plenty of our community sites sometime in the not too distant future.
