ComponentArt Ships Web.UI Version 2006.1 for ASP.NET with New Framework Support, Groundbreaking Client-Side Capabilities, Enhanced AJAX and Two New Controls!

TORONTO, CANADA – ComponentArt is pleased to announce the immediate availability of Web.UI 2006.1for ASP.NET, the brand new version of the company’s suite of user interface controls for ASP.NET.

ComponentArt Web.UI version 2006.1 now includes extensive support for ASP.NET 2.0, ground-breaking new client-side capabilities, and significantly enhanced AJAX features. The release also adds two new controls: Splitter for ASP.NET,and WebChart Lite for ASP.NET.

Beginning with this release there is a special additional build of the software: Web.UI 2006.1 for ASP.NET 2.0. This version includes extensive support for the new Visual Studio 2005 IDE and .NET 2.0 framework, including support for the ASP.NET 2.0 navigation architecture, the new data controls, skins and themes, and enhanced handling of client scripts.

The release also brings with it unique new advancements in the area of client-side control of navigation components:

The new version of Web.UI also ships with two brand new controls: Splitter for ASP.NET, which enables easy creation of interface layouts with resizable panels; and WebChart Lite for ASP.NET, which adds powerful two-dimensional charting capabilities to the suite and is based upon the company's advanced 3D charting control, ComponentArt WebChart for ASP.NET.

Web.UI version 2006.1 for ASP.NET is available for licensing at a variety of levels, including Developer, Subscription and Enterprise licenses.  Prices start at $799 per developer, with discounted upgrades available to customers who have purchased earlier versions of the Web.UI suite.
