ComponentOne® Releases ComponentOne Doc-To-Help 2006 v2 – Release Adds Features Focused on Customer Needs

 

 

PITTSBURGH, PA — ComponentOne today released ComponentOne Doc-To-Help 2006 v2.  This new release enhances the Help authoring experience by providing valuable new features that focus on the feedback from customers.

 

As part of the Doc-To-Help yearly subscription, this new release provides users with the most requested enhancements to existing technology, enabling them to create feature-rich Help systems more efficiently than ever before.  Doc-To-Help subscribers enjoy a continuous stream of enhancements to the product including the latest cutting-edge features, functionality and technologies and this release is another example of just that.  Also available in the coming weeks as part of the Doc-To-Help 2006 v2 release is Section 508 compliance.

New Enhancements in Doc-To-Help 2006 v2:

 

·         More Linking Options: Choose more specific targets for topic links, such as bookmarks and document names.

  • Better Command Line Support:  Execute a variety of tasks from the command line, as well as schedule builds.

·         More Flexible Publishing: Specify any location as the output folder of a Help target.

·         Improved Search Results in NetHelp: NetHelp now highlights search terms in search results.

·         Improved Developer Support: Use your own XML tags in comments when automatically generating .NET reference documentation.

·         Section 508 Compliance: Create output that meets Section 508 federal regulations.  

 

Current Doc-To-Help subscribers will receive these new features and enhancements as part of their annual subscription.

Enlisted in 1995. Basic at Ft Sill. AIT at Ft Jackson (75F). Served in Ohio National Guard. Went through ROTC program at Ohio State University and received 2LT commission in 1997, Engineer branch. Spent about 4 years in 16th Engineer Brigade in Ohio National Guard, then moved far from nearest unit and went into Inactive National Guard, and eventually Individual Ready Reserve. Called up from IRR in 2004 for duty in Iraq (Engineer Platoon Leader with 1st ID). Made it home in 2005. Resigned commission as a CPT in December 2005.
