STEVEN PORTER JOINS WINTELLECT
(Knoxville, TN) August 29, 2006 --Wintellect, a consulting, debugging and training firm specializing in Microsoft Windows and .NET technology, today announced the addition of Steven Porter as a Senior Consultant in the company’s Commercial Consulting division.
Porter’s primary responsibilities are to provide software development related consulting services to Wintellect’s clients, including but not limited to design, development, testing, and other related activities.

Prior to Wintellect, Porter worked in various positions at Connecture Inc., starting first as a Senior Developer and later working as the Senior Developer/Architect for the company’s Atlanta office. While at Connecture he worked on a variety of projects in .NET 2.0 and ASP.NET including (but not limited to) the architecture and implementation of base solutions for high-profile clients; guided implementation of ATLAS on multiple projects; design and development of a document generation/fulfillment engine supporting plug-in engines utilizing dynamic assembly loading and factories; implementation of the core use of Microsoft Enterprise Library; implementation of the company’s test-driven development (TDD) strategy; and development and implementation of ASP.NET membership and profile systems.
Based in Atlanta, Porter is a graduate of Devry University.
