Intersoft Solutions officially announced the release of the new installers which mainly concentrated in support for Atlas Framework. These new installers also include the latest build for individual product.

If you are registered customers with retail version products, you simply need to apply the latest hotfixes using Update Manager or download it manually through Intersoft Developer Network 2.0 - My Components section. For the prospective customers, you are recommended to re-download the trial version installer and start evaluating using the new installer.

In this latest version of the component, ASP.NET AJAX is supported in these three scenarios:

• Side-by-side usage with Intersoft components. This means having Intersoft component in the same page with Microsoft’s AJAX UpdatePanel will not cause any issue or conflict. Microsoft’s AJAX overrides many of the built-in javascript objects and generally will cause issue in even simple javascript codes (such as using for() in Array). In this latest version, our development team has successfully overcome this issue.
• Using Intersoft components inside Microsoft’s AJAX UpdatePanel. This is the most significant feature that allows the updating process for all of Intersoft components without full page refresh. Intersoft component has its own AJAX Framework (FlyPostBack) such as in WebGrid and WebCombo, but in this latest version they still can be used and put inside the UpdatePanel.
• Using Intersoft components with AtlasScripts. We have tested the scenario where Intersoft components programmatically interacting with the Atlas components or scripts, and we found that it is fully supported and will work flawlessly in these scenarios.

With this latest enhancement to the component, we hope that it would increase the productivity, thus bring more satisfaction in using Intersoft component.
