New Book From O’Reilly To Launch at CodeMash

CodeMash will be the site of the launch of a new book from O’Reilly: “Windows Developer Power Tools” by James Avery and Jim Holmes will have its official launch on Friday, 19 January. “Windows Developer Power Tools”, published by O’Reilly, covers over 170 freeware and open source tools to help software developer be more productive and write higher quality software.

CodeMash will be the site of the launch of a new book from O’Reilly: “Windows Developer Power Tools” by James Avery and Jim Holmes will have its official launch on Friday, 19 January. “Windows Developer Power Tools”, published by O’Reilly, covers over 170 freeware and open source tools to help software developer be more productive and write higher quality software. Co-author Jim Holmes is also a CodeMash organizer and presenter. He’ll be wandering the halls of the Nia Conference center helping ensure the conference runs smoothly, and he’s also presenting the session “Improve your testing with Open Source Testing Tools.” Jim will have a number of copies of the book to give away on Friday, 19 January – stop by the NuSoft Solutions sponsor booth where Jim will be hanging out and presenting an occasional Grok talk between conference sessions. O’Reilly is helping publicize the book’s launch with a unique idea: Windows Developer Tools Day. Bloggers are encouraged to write a post on Friday, 19 January talking about a tool they find particularly helpful, interesting, or just plain neat.
