Intersoft Solutions announced the release of WebUI Studio.NET 2007 R1 SP1. The new installer includes the fixes for all problems that you might have encountered previously.
Below is the key highlight of what's new in this SP1:
- Installer: Integrated Help is now using Document Explorer from .NET Framework 2.0.
- Installer: Automatic Visual Web Developer Express and Visual Studio 2005 detection during toolbox installation.
- Installer: All products documentation are now fully integrated to Visual Studio 2005 Documentation
- License Manager, Update Manager, Deployment Manager and all components: Support for x64 bit edition of Windows XP, Windows Server 2003 and Windows Vista.
- WebGrid.NET Enterprise 5.0 - Feature: Exporting support for self referencing table.
- WebGrid.NET Enterprise 5.0 - Feature: Support for context menu scripts when SmartWebResources is disabled.
- WebGrid.NET Enterprise 5.0 - Enhancement: Added UseWebResources property in CustomEditor level, so that user custom editor can retrieve the scripts and images from their own folders instead from SmartWebResources.
- WebDesktop.NET 2.0: Significant enhancements for Mozilla user interaction, such as drag and drop operation.
- WebDesktop.NET 2.0: Better consistency and rendering as well as performance improvement for WebNavPane and WebSplitter.
- WebDesktop.NET 2.0: WebToolBar, WebMenuBar and PlaceHolderManager now renders XHTML compliance tags.
If you are registered customers with retail version products, you simply need to apply the latest hotfixes using Update Manager or download it manually through Intersoft Developer Network 2.0 - My Components section. Alternatively, you may want to re-download the full Installer package if you have problem with VS2005 Help Integration.
For prospective customers, you are recommended to re-download the trial version installer and start evaluating using the new installer.
