Persits Software: New AspJpeg Features

The last few months' development efforts have produced tons of new enhancements to our popular image management component. In fact, AspJpeg has recently amassed so many new features we had to add a whole new chapter to its user manual!

AspJpeg now supports the "alpha channel" which is an extra data component (in addition to RGB) defining variable transparency for each pixel. This new feature allows you to decorate your images with watermarks and logos which blend well with the background.

For those who need plain-text watermarking, AspJpeg now supports high-quality anti-aliased rendering of text, and also word wrapping, alignment, rotation and transparency.

Other features we have recently added include adjustable brightness, contrast and saturation, and the sepia filter which makes an image look like an old photograph.

AspJpeg 1.8 can be downloaded from www.aspjpeg.com. Upgrades are free for registered users.
