WINTELLECT ANNOUNCES POWER COLLECTIONS MOVE TO CODEPLEX

(Knoxville, TN)– September 26, 2007-- Wintellect, a consulting, debugging, and training firm specializing in Microsoft .NET and Windows technologies, today announced that Power Collections has been moved to CodePlex.

Power Collections is an open source collection class library and is a community project designed to extend the base class library (BCL). Originally produced by Wintellect, Power Collections extends the BCL with an algorithms class and a series of new containers. It is created by the developer community for the developer community.

Now located at http://www.codeplex.com/PowerCollections, Power Collections is offered AS IS. It has been available on the Wintellect site for some time but has been placed on CodePlex to encourage its growth and use.

“Power Collections was created to promote collaboration among the developer community, “says Wintellect President and CEO Lewis Frazer. “Our hope is that by making Power Collections available on Codeplex it will only foster greater design and communication that will enhance this open source library.”

CodePlex is Microsoft's open source project hosting web site. CodePlex can be utilized to create new projects to share with the world, join others who have already started their own projects, or use the applications on the site in order to provide feedback. Microsoft is hosting the CodePlex site solely as a web storage site as a service to the developer community.
