FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: November 5th, 2007.

“.netCHARGE 6.0 adds support for Amazon Flexible Payments Service (FPS) along with the Global Payments Inc. native processor.”

Leveraging in excess of 69 million accounts, Amazon's new Flexible Payments Service is a new ewallet solution enabling 3rd party merchants to process payments without needing their own merchant account.  Customers are able to visit a merchants store and using their already established Amazon account, addresses and payment details approve a transaction and checkout without having to re-enter their payment details on the merchants site.  In addition to making checkout easier for the customer, Amazon FPS allows customers to trust their credit card details only to Amazon (they are not shared with the merchant).

Global Payments Inc. is one of the largest payment processors in the world.  .netCHARGE has been certified with Global Payments to allow .netCHARGE to communicate directly with th Global Payments and save on Gateway fees by making this direct connection.

Many other enhancements have been made in .netCHARGE 6.0 including enhanced support for gateways including Protx, Realex, Intellipay and Worldpay.  Features have also been added for the Vital (now TSYS Acquiring Solutions) native processor.
