WebUI Studio.NET 2008 R1 Beta is now available

Jakarta, Indonesia – January 21st, 2008

We are back again in the new year of 2008. This time we bring you more sophisticated WebUI excitement that will thrill you all. We believe most of you have been waiting eagerly on our WebUI Studio.NET 2008 R1 Beta, especially on our Silverlight based component, WebAqua family. Besides WebAqua, we also bring you a new member to our existing WebDesktop.NET 2.5, WebCallOut, a perfect replacement for standard tooltip.

If you are a registered customer, please logon to Intersoft Developer Network and download WebUI Studio.NET 2008 R1 from My Components > Beta Products. If you are a prospective customer and wish to test drive our beta release, please send your email to Intersoft Sales to obtain the beta product.

WebAqua.NET™ is a collection of User Interface components built upon three technologies: WebUI.NET Framework™, ASP.NET™ and Silverlight™. WebAqua is also the industry’s first commercial product that delivers robust, stable and high performance UI components by taking advantage of matured Silverlight 1.0 technology.

Please visit our official WebAqua Live Demo Site for more previews where you can experience our top-notch WebFishEye and dazzling WebCoverFlow.

In its initial release, WebAqua.NET presents you two interactive WebUI components, WebFishEye. and WebCoverFlow. Both are perfect for helping you bringing Mac-OS look and feel to your Web based application.

WebFishEye is a sophisticated Mac-OS modeled navigation dock bar. In its first release, we have equipped WebFishEye with lots of visually appealing features such as the ability to customize the visual effects of the button, ability to show sub items in Elegant Arc mode or Grid mode, as well as superior appearance customizability and XAML support. We still have other beautifully designed features that are waiting for you to discover it.

WebFishEye made easy”. That’s not simply a term, but we really put a lot of effort to let you experience out-of-the-box animation support. So forget all those boring codes just to create a simple animation. You just need to set a few properties and you’re good to go. Another interesting part that is worth to mention about WebFishEye is that it allows you to control most of the layout aspects such as magnified size of the fish eye button, the dock backgrounds, tooltip text, custom font source and much more.

WebCoverFlow. Does it sound familiar? We bet it does. It’s a perfect replica of Mac’s CoverFlow adapted to its phenomenal Apple iPhone, Apple iPod, and iTunes. It’s a replica but we have refined it with many advanced new features that you will surely love.

WebCoverFlow is a sophisticated and advanced Web-based media player. It is capable to display pictures and play videos in 3D perspective mode.  Just simply click on the cover item to switch from one item to another. Besides the modern appearance, WebCoverFlow also comes with lots of powerful features which make it a real WebUI revolution and breakthrough. A simple sample of its powerful feature is the elegant reflective glass. It will automatically follow the current view even when the sliding animation is running.

Another impressive feature that worth to be mentioned is VirtualFlow™ technology, which is Intersoft’s innovative feature enabling you to display virtually any number of covers – from hundreds to thousands –  without performance depletion. The secret behind this is the highly advanced load-on-demand architecture which retrieves pictures asynchronously as needed, and aborts them as they become unnecessary.

Say hello to the newest member in WebDesktop.NET 2.5 family, WebCallOut.NET. WebCallOut.NET is a perfect replacement for standard tooltip. It allows you to easily display rich content, such as combination of images and text. It also provides essential function for displaying rich tool tip content.

WebCallOut.NET also comes with unique features that will surely help you easily create a Web-based tooltip such as fully customizable layout elements which allows you to “skin” your WebCallOut to suit the style of your Web application.

Besides introducing new products, we also include significant updates on our existing flagship products. We have made some enhancements such as comprehensive support for Opera and Safari browser. This means that your Web application can be accessed anytime, anywhere, and by any browsers.

In this 2008 R1 release, we also introduce you a better integration between our components, such as the integration of WebMenu control into WebCombo or the integration of WebTreeView control into WebCombo and more.

We do hope you enjoy our WebUI Studio.NET 2008 R1 as much as we enjoy building it. We look forward to hear your feedback and comments. You can also report bugs to Intersoft Product Feedback.
