TELERIK UNVEILS STRATEGIC EXPANSION PLANS, LAUNCHES NEW PRODUCT DIVISIONS

Corporate and product portfolio expansion solidifies current .NET market leadership, highlights growing momentum in end-to-end productivity solutions space

Waltham, MA, April 13, 2010 –

Telerik, a leading provider of development tools and solutions for the MicrosoftÒ .NET platform, today announced the expansion of its product portfolio to include team productivity solutions and automated testing tools. The company is focusing efforts around four distinct product divisions addressing major cross-sections of the software development lifecycle, while reaffirming its commitment to the .NET developer market. The new and expanded divisions are as follows:

· Developer Productivity Tools

· Team Productivity Tools

· Automated Testing Tools

· Web Content Management Tools

Telerik’s expansion is a result of the company’s recent merger with ArtOfTest, Inc., a software quality assurance technology vendor, and the establishment of a new business division with the consulting, training, and mentoring firm, Imaginet Resources Corp. The move further solidifies Telerik’s position as a .NET development tools leader, as well as marking a key turning point in its organizational growth and market reach. Telerik will continue to have a core focus on its existing developer productivity tools, however, it will also pursue its growing role as a provider of end-to-end solutions that address many areas of the software development process, such as requirements gathering, planning, production, tracking, etc.

“This expansion into team-wide productivity solutions is a natural evolutionary step for Telerik. As a Microsoft Gold Partner, we have firmly established ourselves as the leading vendor of tools and components for .NET developers, which we will continue to release aggressively,” said Vassil Terziev, Telerik Co-CEO. “In conjunction with our continued growth, we are expanding our vision to meet the needs of the broader market. We are committed to providing innovative tools and technologies supporting the development cycle as a whole, and helping whole teams, not just individuals, to be productive and deliver solutions faster and more efficiently.”

With the introduction of its new Automated Testing and Team Productivity divisions Telerik will address the needs of a currently underserved market of small and mid-sized organizations. The company will add to its product portfolio and introduce new flagship products in each division:

· WebUI Test Studio 2010: An innovative automated testing tool combining industry-first support for modern technologies like Silverlight, AJAX, and MVC. WebUI Test Studio 2010 introduces a breakthrough user interface and unique features like cross-browser test execution, codeless recording, and visual storyboards. WebUI Test Studio is available in two tailored editions for developers and QAs, with prices ranging from $1,499 USD to $2,499 USD.

· TeamPulse: An integrated system for agile project management, utilizing Microsoft’s team collaboration platform, Team Foundation Server (TFS). Built in Silverlight 4.0, TeamPulse offers highly intuitive visual tools for requirements gathering, iteration planning, tracking and real-time analysis, enabling whole teams to collaborate effectively in a common workspace and be engaged in the decision-making process.

The first version of TeamPulse is available to users immediately in Beta, and is scheduled for commercial launch in July 2010.

Targeted at QAs, Project Managers, Business Analysts, and everyone else involved in the software development process, Telerik’s new offerings will make available its competitive licensing model, free learning resources, frequent product updates and Telerik’s dedicated technical support to a broader audience beyond its developer customer base.

“Until now, testing and ALM solutions have been a privilege accessible only to larger enterprises,” said Christopher Eyhorn, Executive Vice President, Telerik Automated Testing Division. “We believe that the general market, including small- to mid-sized companies will benefit substantially from the innovative, enterprise-grade software that Telerik is bringing to the market.”

Telerik’s expansion comes on the heels of a number of recent awards and recognition from industry organizations and publications, such as the Red Herring Global 100 award and the 2009 Deloitte Technology Fast 50 award. As part of its current growth, the organization is opening regional offices in Austin, TX, and Winnipeg, MB, Canada. The company also foresees increased personnel levels at its offices in Boston, Houston, Munich, Germany, and Sofia, Bulgaria, in order to meet rising product and business development demands.

“This is the beginning of the next chapter for our company and customers alike,” said Svetozar Georgiev, Telerik Co-CEO. “Our expanded portfolio will enable us to provide the functional richness and integration capabilities traditionally only available in more expensive enterprise tools, while providing the same level of quality and customer support that Telerik is renowned for. The dynamic synergies among the four product divisions will produce great benefits, which will ultimately be passed along to users.”
