DiscountASP.NET further announces enhancing the user experience through integrating a SQL Server backup and SQL Server restore solution within the DB Manager interface.

The IIS Database Manager is an out-of-band IIS UI module released by Microsoft to allow users to manage their local and remote databases from within IIS Manager. Once connected, IIS DB Manager provides an array of functionalities including managing tables, views, stored procedures and data as well as running ad hoc queries. IIS Database Manager provides support for both SQL Server 2008 and SQL Server 2005 databases.

Kentico CMS 5.0 Scales Up Enterprise Support

Kentico Software Launches a New Partner Portal for 900 Partners in 80 Countries

The new portal is used by 900 active Kentico Solution Partners located in 80 countries. The main goal of the new program is to support partners in delivering first-class Web sites and help them grow their business with Kentico CMS for ASP.NET.

Kentico Software launched a new version of their Partner Program that divides partners into 3 levels - Partner, Certified Partner and Gold Certified Partner, based on the Partner Points. The new program is supported by a new portal, where partners can report their activities and access partner-only information.

Kentico Sotware Plants Trees for Bugs Found by Clients

Nashua, New Hampshire, USA, November 30, 2009 – Kentico Software (http://www.kentico.com), the Web content management system vendor, kept its promise to plant a tree for every bug found in the latest version of Kentico CMS for ASP.NET as well as to fix all reported bugs within 7 days.

Three months earlier, Kentico Software promised to plant a tree for every bug in Kentico CMS 4.1 reported by their clients and to fix all such bugs within 7 business days. Although clients reported only 60 bugs in the product, company employees and management planted almost 100 of them. The tree species and the place for planting them were chosen by the Czech Environmental Partnership Foundation (NGO). Each tree was tagged with a label showing the name of the client who reported the bug.
